How to Use the Ratchet Clasp Rubber Strap

Sizing the cut-to-size (CTS) rubber strap

  1. Attach the watch and strap to your wrist and check for a rough estimate on where the clasp would land. Add 2 additional notches as a safety buffer.

  2. Cut the strap at the estimated length + 2 notches. You can use a pair of scissors or a razor blade to remove material. I personally prefer razor blade as it produces a better finish.
  3. Install the strap onto the clasp and attach it to the watch to test the fit

  4. Remove the rubber strap, cut one notch at a time and re-attach to test fit.
  5. Repeat step #4 until the desired tightness is achieved.

Be patient during this step as once you cut away the material, you cannot lengthen it again.**Please use this link to purchase a spare strap in the event of overcutting. The spare rubber strap is sold individually instead of a pair.
