KOALA is one of the longest standing items produced by Puccini Tannery. It is made from the highest quality, French-origin cow shoulders and is 100% vegetable-tanned. Firm and beautifully colored, KOALA is a smooth, full-grain leather that is fattened using sego and other natural oils, according to the tannery's old recipe. The tanning process involves natural tannin extracts from quebracho and chestnut trees, giving the leather a strong structure and good elasticity. Over time and use, it will develop a unique patina, as expected of natural vegetable-tanned leather. Our signature buckle and quick release spring-bar lend effortless ease to changing the strap.
